Vegetable particles appear out of pet lemurs while they eat.

Lemurs are by default breedable and at any time can be converted into a pet, unless they are pregnant.

One food bowl feeds one pet lemur for 56 days. The food bowl lasts twice as long for a pet lemur than a breedable lemur. If food is not present a lemur’s nutrition will drop until it reaches 0%. If a lemur does not eat for 3 days, it will get sick. Medicine is necessary to heal a sick lemur. A pet lemur cannot breed.

Breedable lemurs and pet lemurs look identical. Their hover text and particles set them apart.

Rez a lemur and click Convert. It opens a sub menu with buttons, Breedable and Pet. Click the Pet button.

Once you convert a lemur into a pet and you would like to convert a lemur back into a breedable again, click Convert/Breedable. When you convert back into a breedable it takes 7 days before it can breed again.
