At any point you can send a lemur or a den back to the Sanctuary. Your avatar receives Sanctuary points which can be redeemed for lemur items at Zooby’s.

A newborn lemur is worth 100 Sanctuary points. Every 10 days a lemur is worth another 100 Sanctuary points. If you let a lemur reach old age you receive an additional 100 Sanctuary points.

All lemur dens are redeemed for 100 Sanctuary points. Once a lemur den or lemur pet is sent to the Sanctuary, you cannot get it back.
